Until recently, the congregation of the Charlotte Valley Presbyterian Church owned three churches and rotated Sunday services between them. These churches were located in Davenport, North Kortright, and East Meredith. Because of the high cost of maintaining three buildings, they elected to donate the North Kortright and East Meredith churches to other non-profit organizations and keep just the church in Davenport where the parsonage is located. Meredith Historical Society is very grateful to the congregation for the gift of a well-maintained and spacious building.
