Edna (Georgia) Benedict, an Early 20th Century Photographer from Meredith

   Edna (Georgia) Benedict was born in 1888 and grew up on the Georgia family farm on the corner of Warner Hill Road and the Turnpike in Meredith where she began her hobby of photography as a teenager.  She was a prolific photographer of the life around her during the early 20^th century.  This program will tell you about her life and times and show you many of her iconic photographs.
