A Concert of 19th Century Music

While performing on guitar, mountain and hammered dulcimer, historical balladeer, Linda Russell’s rich singing voice illuminates our American heritage through patriotic anthems, broadsides, hymns and dance tunes.
The 19th century was the time of Stephen Foster songs, Hutchinson Family tunes, the hymns of Lowell Mason and Thomas Hastings, parlor ballads, campaign songs and Celtic melodies of Robert Burns and Thomas Moore.
The concert is free and all are invited.
